My friend's ride was stolen the other day. It's a silver & red chromed Faggin frame with vintage Benotto brakes, RX100 cranks and DP18 rims. Equipped as seen in this image and here. The owner of this bike only got to enjoy his new ride for two days before some drunk jerkoff decided to give the rear wheel and fork a karate kick. Here's my latest track bike project. I disassembled my everyday ride for maintenance and then decided to build this one up instead. I have no idea what the make of this frame is, but it is very light and responsive, so no complaints there. Another fixie from the Refurbs workshop. I built it on a dark blue Bianchi frame with all cable guides and other unsightly protrusions cut off, gave it some white fades, a set of blue tires, blue anodized rear hub and chainring, Oury grips and some blue housing for the brake cable. The seatpost was stuck, so after many futile attempts at removal, I went for the last resort solution: I sawed off

An old-school track bike from an André Bertin catalogue. As seen in text, riding track bikes on the streets is not a new concept at all, and the authors even added a cautionary note on the good sense in having a front brake.

Originally set up as a fixie, this one was instead equipped with a coaster brake wheel. It's a Tange steel frame that I spray painted with a splatter fade, put on some RX100 cranks, a San Marco saddle, leather bar tape and a vintage Shimano 105 headset. Nothing fancy, but my friend who rides it is very happy.images
